Gaday Sports!

Well here I am, 16,000 km (9,940.8miles) away from my best friends, family, and er… other people I have met, as the crow flies.

Where am I? A little known island south of the river that the locals like to call Australia. It’s a strange land with weird and wonderful things, like Rats with big hind legs as tall as you and me! And the fishes - big as boats!

I’ve settled in a small village on the west coast, called Perth by native tongue. The locals here seem friendly and accommodating……… enough of that, I can’t keep this shit up! …………

Heeeeeelloooooo! Thought it was about time I updated the old blogaroony, so to get it in full swing I suppose I should tell you what I’ve been up to.

I’ve been here about 8 weeks from this blog post, I live in a place called kingsley (north Perth). And things seem to be going quite well.
I have started work for the City of Sterling council, as a casual worker, but hope to go to the gold mines in Kalgoorlie to earn some big buck! I will post a photo when I have worked out how to do it!

When I got here, I had a number of things I had to do, to make sure I stay here, like join Medicare, Insurance, and convert My license to an Aussy one…. Bit boring… well hang on…… I was told by my dear mother that I would be ask to undergo a conversion test entitled

‘How to Drive very Badly and Endanger my Fellow Road User, and drink VB as well as smoke all at the same time. Ver;2 - 2005’

Whilst I was filling out all the paper work with the very helpful lady behind the desk, I mentioned to her if my provisional motorbike license for a 125cc (which ran out about 7 years ago) would carry over to my new one? … the slightly confused lady said she wouldn’t be a moment as she would have to ask her supervisor….. and low and behold, apparently, even though every other bugger over here has got to do a test because I’m Fester…. And I’m great, it converts over to a full license and I can go ahead and ride any bike I want….. and no conversion test!!!! Ha ha ha FUCK UP!

So now I own a Suzuki XL 650 super Motard……..One for the people!!! Teehee
